Loopool

Made in 4 days for GMTK 2025. 

Controls:

WASD - Move   
 Left Mouse - Fire     
Right Mouse - Aim   
 Left Control - Dash     
R - Reload  Weapon   
Tab- Pause/Settings

Loopool is a puzzle-based shooter where the player uses the loop of time to solve puzzles and blast through enemies to complete levels!

How To Play:

You must escape each level as quickly as you can and defeat as many holograms as you can. Each level has a "Pool" (see images). Wading in this pool will reverse the flow of time! You must use this to your advantage to reach the end of each level, marked by the holographic cube (see images). Make sure you get you're timing right, because reversing time too early won't give you enough time to get to the end...

1. The platform falls down going forward in time, so what might it help you do going backwards in time?

2. The Laser Trigger opens the door when it sees something. The door will open again moving backward in time...

3. Shooting through all of the triggers once wont get you through all of the doors, you'll have to bounce up and shoot multiple times.

4: Make sure to give yourself enough time to get back to the door before you reverse time.

5: Waiting slightly to shoot the trigger gives you more time to reach the end.
