Made in four days for the GMTK 2026 game jam.

In light of the recent budget cuts, the government has begun to cut down on departments that they see as archaic and no longer useful. First went the Department of Education, now on the chopping block is the U.S. mail service. They see the service as inefficient and a general waste of American tax dollars. But as a recently hired courier with plentiful student loan debt, you cannot afford to lose your job.

You must deliver a package across the country...and it's your job to find the fastest route to get there.

Controls:

W - Accelerate forwards

S - Accelerate Backwards

A/D - Change lanes left/right

Gameplay Instructions:

Each time you arrive in a new city you are given a choice from three packages of places to deliver to. Cities further away grant a higher reward for reaching. You can carry up to five packages in your truck at one time. If you exceed this, a new package will not be offered to you.

After selecting a package you are taken to the destination screen, where you can use the map to plan your next trip. However, it's just a visual tool, to select a city you must pick one of the ones neighbouring yours under the "Route Towards" Tab.

Then, you're put into driving. Switch lanes left to right and go as fast as you dare to reach the distance of your destination city. Once there, you'll be offered a new package and given the same destination choice.

Once you reach a city you have a package for it will be dropped off and you will be given the time reward.

Survive as long as you can by stringing together package deliveries in close proximity, or by whatever strategy you decide best.
